Shoulder and Upper Limb Specialist
Ilia lives and works in Wellington, and is a fully trained Orthopaedic Surgeon and Fellow of the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association. Ilia has trained in shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand surgery.
He finished his advanced orthopaedic training in Wellington, New Zealand. Ilia completed two post-graduate clinical and research fellowships in hand and upper limb surgery in Perth, Australia at the Perth Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Clinic and in London, Ontario, Canada at the Hand and Upper Limb Centre. Ilia has a particular interest in treating disorders of the upper limb and his special clinical interests include:

Upper Limb Specialist
Justin lives and works in Wellington and is a fully trained Orthopaedic Surgeon graduate of Otago University. He is a fellow of the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association.
He completed his Orthopaedic clinical training in Wellington Hospital, completed his Hand Fellowship in Auckland and Melbourne; and Upper Limb Fellowship in Toronto
He consults and operates on all aspects of upper limb, including hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.

Nigel Willis. MBChB, F.R.A.C.S.
Foot and Ankle Specialist
Nigel Willis is a New Zealand trained and qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in Foot and Ankle surgery, as well as Trauma and Limb Reconstruction.
Born and bred in Wellington, Nigel graduated from Otago University Medical School in 1987 and qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 1988. He then underwent further orthopaedic training in Canada and Oxford, UK.
Nigel has a special interest in lower limb joint replacement and arthroscopy surgery. In addition to this, he continues to provie a general orthopaedic service for specific range of upper limb pathologies, such as Carpal Tunnel & Tennis Elbow.
Nigel is based at Wellington Orthopaedic & Sports Surgeons, with clinics available at Bowen, Mana Orthopaedics and Kapiti (Team Medical). He operates at Bowen Hospital. |

Gareth Rooke.MBChB (Edinburgh), MRCS (UK), MSc (Cardiff), FRACS (Ortho)Foot and Ankle Specialist
Gareth is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, specialising in Foot and Ankle surgery. He has a particular interest in ankle and hindfoot arthritis. He is an expert in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology, as well as hip replacement and lower limb trauma. In addition, as part of his public practice at Wellington Hospital, Gareth treats patients with pelvic, acetabular, or complex peri-articular trauma, including the use of circular hexapod external fixators. Gareth completed his medical degree at the University of Edinburgh and further surgical training in the UK and New Zealand. After finishing his advanced orthopaedic training in New Zealand, he undertook international subspecialty training as the Major Trauma Fellow in Liverpool, UK, and the Foot and Ankle Fellow in Calgary, Canada. Gareth is a member of the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association and the Royal College of Surgeons (UK). He also holds memberships in the New Zealand Foot and Ankle Society, the New Zealand Trauma Society, the AO surgical trauma foundation and an associate membership in the Orthopaedic Trauma Society (UK). He lives with his family in Wellington. Gareth consults at Wellington Orthopaedic & Sports Surgeons and operates at Bowen Hospital.
